"Will she answer for the question who will be the next to PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal?"
After winning the next to next debute international titles, Malvika Bansod gives hope to Indian Badminton that she will answer the question who is next to Sindhu and Saina.
Nagpur teenager won Nepal International Series and Maldives Future series which are her consecutive victories from her debut at Maldives. In Nepal International Finals, Malvika faced her favourite Indian rival, World No. 325, Gayatri Gopichand and tackled her for 21-14, 21-18. World No. 452 Malvika, among both the tournaments, has lost only one game against Japan's Chika Shigeyama in the Nepal Semi Final which rubbers to deciding and managed remaining matches of both tournamnets in straights.
Malvika said, "I am very glad that I could win two back-to-back titles in my first exposure in senior international circuit. I am very grateful to my coach Sanjay Mishra Sir for his training and guidance. It was a fortnight-long tour having won the tournament at Maldives last Sunday, I had to continue in the same tempo and focus".
Malvika recently signed a five-year contract with Nagpur firm Vishvaraj Infrastructure Ltd and according to her it really boosted her confidence. Malvika will receive 4 lakh per annum and also vital supports like coaching, nutrition and fitness. Malvika has reached No. 1 BAI rankings in U-17 girls singles and U-19 girls singles but due to lack of international exposure she didn't have an impressive world ranking. VIL endorsement with player like Malvika is the vital example for a private player endorsement how it should impact the sport positively.
