Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the world with quick rallies in singles and even faster rallies in doubles. Players must be quick on their feet to play shots and anticipate the opponent’s next move. Hence players need to react quickly and be lightning-fast in moving across the court in picking smashes and changing directions all over the court. Short, rapid, and sudden movements are necessary to turn the tide of any badminton game. At the highest level, speed becomes an integral part of winning. Professional players are known to accelerate and vary their pace to outsmart their competition.

These workouts are essential to developing athletic skills, reducing injury, and building confidence. Speed and agility can improve by performing short sprints(5-10s), cone drills, and ladder drills.
